Welcome back everyone to a new school year. A little introduction about myself; My name is Mrs. Amanda Fahey. I am returning to Mike Mountain Horse this year after being off on a maternity leave. This will be my 12th year teaching where I have taught grades 2-6. My husband and I are originally from St. John's, Newfoundland but moved to northern Alberta (Fort Vermilion) 12 years ago to start my teaching career. My husband works here in Lethbridge as a firefighter/paramedic. We have three children; Grayson (3) , Julia and Isabelle who just turned one this past summer - yes, Twin girls! Life is busy that's for sure.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with all of you this year. I post frequently on this blog so please do check up regularly. Sunday nights I usually post the week at a glance so you have an idea of what to expect for the week. As well I like to post information about things that are happening in the classroom to keep you all informed about our wonderful learning and innovations.
