One School, One Book

For the last week and a half, we've had a count down to our launch where clues have been left around the school that may help students discover what book we have chosen. The process of choosing the PERFECT book is quite difficult. Our committee has worked since May of last year trying to decide on a title that would be appropriate for students from kindergarten to grade 5. I am so excited with this book, I hope you will be too!! 

The purpose of this project is to get students and families reading together at home. Each family will receive a copy of our chosen book, that is yours to keep!! Along with the book you will receive a reading schedule of chapters to read each night as a family. Throughout the three week project, we will spend time each day discussing the chapters from the night before. 

Our launch will take place on Thursday from 2:15-3. Look for more information about the book and school wide initiatives after our launch!
