This week we will be focusing on Homophones (words that sound the same but have both a different spelling and a different meaning). Students will have 6 words this week, as well as 3 challenge words.
Group 1:
ate, eight, mail, male, weak, week
Group 2:
flour, flower, wear, where, blew, blue
Group 3:
stair, stare, peace, piece, which, witch
Challenge Words:
there, their, they're
Please note that within the next week or two, spelling groups may change. I am reassessing students. There may be more groups added on, or students may be moved to a different group.
